Located at 1411 Kenneth Rd, York, PA 17404, Quaker Steak & Lube operates as a restaurant serving York in Pennsylvania. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Because this group is broad, judging a listing on freshness, turnover and how consistent recent reviews are tends to work better than judging by decor or price range alone. Most kitchens in York will adjust a dish for common dietary needs like gluten-free or vegetarian if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: diners and fast-food chains often stay open late or around the clock, while bakeries and cafes tend to open early and close mid-afternoon. Catering and food delivery businesses in Pennsylvania usually require advance notice, from a day for a small order up to a week or more for a large event, so it is worth contacting them early.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 11 am–10 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (717) 767-9464. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, thelube.com.

Its Google rating is 4.2 out of 5 from 2,196 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

York is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in York peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

If I could give it 0 stars for food I would. This was my husband and I first time eating here and I think its my last. We looked at the menu before coming and we're so excited everything sounded delicious. When we go out to eat, we try not to be "those people" that complain about anything. It's embarrassing and I dont like to complain. Now that we left i feel like we should have 100%. When the food came out it was ICE COLD. Brushed it off. My husband took a couple bites out of his burger and immediately put it down. The inside was not cooked at all. And not like a little pink like he asked....completely RAW. Even the server said "uh is that burger still mooing?" And we just laughed it off not realizing the inside was literally raw till we opened it up and took the condiments off. Like if you were to buy ground beef from the store. Thats what it looked like. We just stopped eating and left. I couldn't get over how bad our first time was there 😩

I go to this place once a year for our fantasy football live draft. The food is fantastic, especially the wings and chicken tenders. I would recommend the Boom Boom wings/shrimp if you are into those. The service staff are wonderful and always check in on you to make sure you have everything you need. Even with a large party of 10+. The manager, Andy, also comes out to check on everyone and grab anything if he sees the wait staff are busy which is great. Lastly, the atmosphere is great seeing all of the racing stuff and the cars dangling from the ceiling. Unlike any dining experience I've ever had before. Definitely need to get down here more.

I have a lot of food allergies, some of them very odd and obscure, and QSL was able to fix a meal for me that was completely safe and didn’t cause an allergic reaction (trust me, this is quite a feat)! I’m gluten and dairy free as my main allergies (I’m allergic to wheat, not Celiac, but my allergy is fairly severe), but my main obscure one is onion, and the staff cheerfully left out the seasoning for my burger and fries. The staff were also incredibly considerate of my service dog and did not try to interact with him. It was a fantastic dining experience from the second we set foot in the building, and I will definitely be eating here again!

We nibbled on our food because we paid for it. But no one at the table liked their food. The waitress was rough around the edges and her demeanor caught my daughter off guard. My daughter mentioned it to me and said she was too scared to order her food because the waitress was too brash. The waitress softened up as the meal time went along. We won’t be back. There were flies and gnats around the tables, too. The manager did come over after the waitress asked why I didn’t want a box and took off my meal.

Wow! Only 2 of us visited here for the first time, and it certainly didn't disappoint! Reasonably-priced sandwiches, steaks and appetizers with LOTS to choose from on the menu. Quaker had motorcycles, car and racing memorabilia, and even a pristine, drivable Corvette up on a platform to sit under! The atmosphere was really interesting and cool, but we wanted to try the food. I had a surprisingly unexpected cheese steak with a salad. It had pieces of real steak instead of the slivers that you see elsewhere and because I was expecting that kind of meat, I ordered it just as I would have historically, rather than as it was described on the menu. I would certainly buy this sandwich again sometime. It was seasoned perfectly and very tender. We also had the cheese curds - tasty and unusual - 2 inch cubes of cheese, which were put on some of the sandwiches three at a time! We enjoyed our time there very much and look forward to trying new things next time.
